The Concorde Descent Calculator calculates distance, time and fuel to decelerate and descend a simulator Concorde model, using real world data.

The Concorde Descent Calculator provides virtual simulator pilots with a considerable time saver. Previously the critical descent phase required tables of information, wind calculations and some grey matter work. The calculator application performs look ups on real world data from the Concorde fleet manuals and performs all the calculations instantly.

Again Object Orientated re-use principles allow the underlying non-visual class to be plugged into a future project, a complete flight fuel planner. More on that soon.

This was designed and implemented to meet sub requirements of a further suite of applications for the simulator community. The Wind Calculator was required for a Descent Calculator for the legendary Concorde. More info on this is above. Using sound Object Orientated re-use principles the Wind Calculator consists of a model (non-visual) calculator class and the UI was added on top to form a completed application, allowing the model class to be 'plugged into' the Descent Calculator application as a utility class later.

Iceni Properties would like to like to welcome you to their interactive site design to offer a complete service from selling, renting or buying your own property, giving YOU the control, you input your favourite photographs...

Iceni is a complex ecommerce site that allows third parties to pay a subscription to advertise properties on the site.

Advertisers add properties to the site via a administrative interface, each property has information, textual description and a gallery of images.

Complete search pages for rental and resale properties.

The owner of the site has a full administration interface for changing almost everything on the site, without designer/developer costs.

The aim of iwdp.co.uk is to assist potential clients locate and source an Independent Designer / Programmer / Scripter, whilst promoting the services of our members.

The design brief for IWDP was to create a database to organsie a selection of web developers. The designers were to be displayed either on the relevant categories matching their specialised field, or searchable by their working regions, or specific field of expertise.

Developer mini portfolios are to be generated giving all the details required to contact each one, plus the option to display any number of website image links and associated brief.

Work was carried out in paralell to the site design, and programming, database and design all remain completely seperate in content and design. Object Orientated techniques were imployed for ease of maintenance and extension. IWDP has been upgraded twice since its initial commisioning in the summer of 2002.

This is the new website of the popular place to eat in Ipswich. With our customer's needs at the forefront, we have developed this site using the Internet to it's full potential!

The design brief(s) for the Vagabonds Online website were:

• Provide an intelligent live booking system that could be monitored and controlled from within the restaurant via the Internet to manage seating and provide online bookings.
• To provide a way for users to register for the site, and recieve privileges, allowing online table bookings and as below to facilitate online customer accounts.
• To provide a method of keeping track of customers bills for online ordered takeaway lunches, or table booking deposits. These bills are invoiced, by print from the restaurant via a statement display system.
• Provide statistics on bookings and accounts.
• Use a database to store both restaurant and cafe menus, which are to be fully editable by the restaurant manager via an administration web page.

Again work was carried out in parallel to the site design.
